I Offer Online Therapy throughout Ohio and Florida
What I Offer
Using Insurance
I am out-of-network with insurance providers. Patients are responsible for paying for sessions at the time of service. Payments can be made using credit or debit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Savings Account (FSA) cards. Using HSA or FSA funds for therapy can help you save money by utilizing the tax benefits of those kinds of accounts.
If your insurance policy reimburses you for out-of-network care I am able to provide you the documentation you need to get reimbursed.
Some people prefer to see providers who are in-network with their insurance company, and if this is the case for you, you can explore your insurance provider’s directory of in network therapists.
At the same time, keep in mind that due to the variations in insurance plans, the cost to you of seeing someone out-of-network may be very comparable to in-network care depending on your insurance policy’s reimbursement rate, deductibles, and what your in-network copays would be.
You can use the form below to quickly check your personal reimbursement rate for out of network sessions so that you have an accurate idea of how much each session will cost after insurance reimbursement.
You may also wish to consider paying for your therapy yourself and not using your insurance. This has the benefit of keeping your personal information more confidential. When using insurance benefits for therapy, insurance companies require that your therapist make a diagnosis and communicate that diagnostic code to them to justify treatment. This diagnosis becomes part of your record.
